My brave and spirited friend Jane went to Uganda last year for 6 weeks. To help her deal with the bacteria that she was likely to encounter, I made her a blend that she could rub on her feet at night. Feet are a great conduit for the introduction of essential oils, but you may want to put on a pair of light socks afterwards to keep the oil off of your sheets. Jane credited this blend along with taking 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar before each meal for keeping her healthy during her African adventure.
This blend in 10 mls of jojoa oil in a roller ball:
- 3 drops fennel (foeniculum vulgare)
- 3 drops lemon (citrus limonun)
- 3 drops black pepper (piper nigrum)
